Who We Are
Speaker Skills Training was founded by Hugo Summerson in 1993. We teach public speaking and presentation skills for all occasions, including business, political and social. We also train people in confidence building, communication skills, conversation skills, voice production, interviews, chairing meetings and conferences, and dealing with the media; and offer ongoing consultancy services.
Our consultants are qualified trainers in speech, phonetics and phonology.

Former Member of Parliament and Past-President of Grosvenor Square Toastmasters International, Hugo is is a highly experienced and versatile public speaker.
He has spoken in the UK at venues large and small, ranging from Trafalgar Square to small village halls. Abroad he has made speeches to the Youth Conference of NATO at Brussels; to the annual Meeting of the Florida Historical Society, USA; and to a distinguished audience at the Kremlin under the auspices of KOMSOMOL and the Freedom of Europe Trust.
